Every year more than 24 billion newspapers, 350 million magazines, and 2 billion books are published in the US. Moreover, the increasing use of bamboo shoots in foods due to its various health benefits such as low calorie and rich in minerals such as iron, copper, and potassium is expected to augment the growth of the bamboos market.

Bamboos are tall grasses that grow up to 3 feet (if not more) high. Bamboo can be found almost anywhere, and it can be found growing in fields, swamps, forests, backyards, parks, gardens, man-made reservoirs, and even on some residential backyards. These grasses grow in many different colors and are usually susceptible to bald patches or brown patches. Typically, bamboo is milled into yarns that are used for tapestry and decorating purposes. Some bamboo fibers are also used in clothing because of their lightweight, natural appearance, and comfortable feel.
